Bellevue Family Remodel Project

This Bellevue comprehensive remodel started with a young family and a floor plan that no longer fit how they wanted to live. Rather than start over, we redesigned the home around them, adding the space they needed and reworking the spaces they already had into something that feels intentional, modern, and unmistakably theirs.

We enlarged the entire width of the existing structure by ten feet, which required additional foundation work and a massive steel beam to carry the new load. The result is a meaningfully larger home that still reads as a single, cohesive design rather than an addition tacked on.

A large primary suite was added, giving the parents a true retreat. A covered outdoor living area extends the home into the yard, and NanaWall bifolding doors let the indoor and outdoor spaces flow as one. Inside, a custom floating stair system became a sculptural focal point that anchors the whole interior.
